We are seeking a compassionate, patient individual to serve as a live-in caregiver for my father, who has unmanaged diabetes. The caregiver will provide essential daily support to help ensure his comfort, safety, and well-being.

Live-in accommodation includes a private bedroom and bathroom. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting seniors and vulnerable individuals. The caregiver will assist with daily activities, health needs, and emotional well-being while helping maintain a safe, comfortable setting.

Live-in caregiver needed for a 73-year-old person with diabetes and related health concerns.

Provide companionship and emotional support.

Prepare Punjabi meals, preferably twice daily, along with a Western-style meal as needed.

Light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing)

Provide medication reminders.

Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary

Engage the client in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.

Recognized caregiving education

Previous caregiving experience

Diabetic care experience is an asset

Current First Aid & CPR certification

Valid criminal record check required

Strong verbal and written Punjabi communication skills

Ability to speak and read English and Punjabi

Legally entitled to work in Canada

Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required.

Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills

Ability to prepare Indian cuisine.
