POSITION TITLE: Logistics & Inventory – Co-ordinator
REPORTS TO: Supply Chain Manager
SUMMARY: In this position you will be part of the Supply Chain team and be mainly responsible for assisting all aspects of Logistics & Inventory Related Activities and support systemic transactions for efficient Inbound & Outbound related activities. Your work will not only require close co-ordination with Warehouse and also support in related Supply Chain Teams Activities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning the Inbound activities for product receiving to ensure ASN and related info available for Receiving team
- Co-ordinate with carriers and vendors to schedule local and international freight where required
- Well versed in FTA and specifically USMCA/CUSMA/Rules of Origin to ensure compliance with Import Entry Paperwork
- Understand MRP systems and work with vendor when requested by Procurement team to ensure delivery schedule timelines are met
- Work with Supply Chain Team members to Optimise the Freight Costs utilising various strategies
- Ensure customer delivery timelines are met and work with Production Control and Sales team to plan and schedule outbound freight as and when required
- Understanding of key import export terminologies/regulations and systems such as EAR, ECCN, AES/EEI, SLI, CARM, PAPS, PARS, TIB, E29B, ISF, AMPS, SIMA, ADD, CVD etc.
- Understanding the Canadian Export Requirements incl. CERS filing to ensure compliance
- Interface with Canadian and US customs brokers as required
- Knowledgeable in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Conduct periodic checks to ensure the data accuracy of master data in D365 related to COO/HTS/weight info etc.
- Co-ordinate with Engineering team on new Harmonized codes and ECCN info maintenance
- Identify bottlenecks in the Logistics network based on Macro issues and take steps to mitigate
- Keep track of changes to the Import/Export regulations as well as follow up on retired Harmonized codes and ensure HTM systems are up to date
- Work with supply chain team to ensure all shipping documents including, Bill, Invoice & packlist are in order for shipments
- Assist with the Supply Chain team in Annual Physical Inventory related activities
- Work with Inventory and Remanufacturing team on Remanufacturing Inventory accuracy
- Assist Supply chain team in managing optimal stocking levels and regular scrap/obsolescence processing
- Co-ordinate and follow up with 3PL teams and offisite WH as required for material requirements for production order plan
- Interface with Finance/Accounting to ensure freight invoice accuracy and timely payables and reconciliation
- Work with the Supply Chain team to develop/append the documentation as required for ISO and other requirements
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Logistics or Supply Chain background with 2 or more years equivalent experience in Logistics or Supply Chain related
- 1-2 years Hands on Experience in Logistics on Inbound or Outbound dealing with international Air and Ocean Shipments.
- 1-2 years using ERP systems for Logistics/Inventory Control etc.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with constant shifting priorities
- Ability to complete assigned work and projects on time within a fast, ever-changing setting
- Work effectively with minimal supervision. Works well in team environment
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
