We’re looking for a outgoing, energetic person to join our management team!

This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a hands-on retail environment. During our seasonal operating months, you’ll take the lead at our Georgian Bay location in Waubaushene, overseeing day-to-day operations, leading the team, and creating an exceptional experience for our customers.

When the Georgian Bay location closes down for the season, you’ll remain an important part of our year-round management team at our Flagship Muskoka location in Gravenhurst, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a longer-term role within our company.

Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our Georgian Bay location during the seasonal operating months
- Lead, motivate and support a team in a positive, fun and energetic work environment
- Oversee daily retail operations, including cash handling, POS transactions, rentals and inventory management
- Provide exceptional customer service and help customers choose the right canoe, kayak, SUP and accessories for their needs
- Oversee and support our rental operations, including gear fitting, customer instruction and vehicle tie-downs
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, onboarding and coaching
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach to sales, customer service and daily operations
- Handle customer questions and concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming store, outdoor sales yard and waterfront area
- Help drive sales and achieve location goals
- Work closely with the broader management team to ensure consistency between our Georgian Bay location and other locations
- During the off-season,



transition into our year-round management team at our Flagship Muskoka store and assist with ongoing operations, sales, customer service and team leadership

What We’re Looking For

- A positive, outgoing personality and a genuine enjoyment of working with people
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and bring out the best in a team
- Retail, sales, hospitality or customer service management experience is an asset
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable making decisions and taking initiative in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions during all 4 seasons
- Physically capable of moving canoes, kayaks, SUPs and other equipment
- Comfortable working around a waterfront and supporting rental operations
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays during our busy season
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are required
- A passion for the outdoors and water-based recreation is a definite plus!

Work Location: Georgian Bay / Waubaushene during seasonal operating months, transitioning to our Flagship Muskoka location during the off-season. Job Type: Full-time, year-round
