Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team and drive the efficiency of our supply chain operations. In this role, you will oversee the coordination of warehouse distribution, transportation management, and order fulfillment processes. Responsibilities

- Coordinate transportation logistics utilizing transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize freight movement and delivery schedules.
- Oversee procurement and sourcing activities related to materials management, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and pricing strategies.
- Monitor demand planning and order fulfillment processes to meet customer expectations while minimizing delays.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and freight carriers to streamline shipping operations and improve delivery accuracy.
- Utilize data analysis skills to evaluate supply chain performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements using tools like ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning)



and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, and forklift handling while maintaining accurate records through AS400 or similar systems.

Skills

- Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, and materials management.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms, AS400, and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Solid data analysis skills to interpret supply chain metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Knowledge of procurement sourcing strategies, pricing negotiations, demand planning, and e-commerce logistics.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; certification preferred.
- Familiarity with 3PL partnerships, freight management, packaging standards, and order fulfillment procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking, inventory control, and documentation accuracy.
