ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

- Set up, program, operate and maintain the following special-purpose woodworking machines:
- - Optimizing saw
- Finger-jointer
- 4-sided moulder
- Dowel Laminated Panel drill and dowel pressing machine
- Transfer conveyors
- Wood CNC machines

- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders of production schedules to determine product of job instructions and specifications
- Monitor and control product quality
- Identify, diagnose and rectify machined product defects
- Load and remove completed work pieces or parts from machinery manually or with cranes
- Make final product adjustments and prepare for shipping

REQUIRED:

- Post-secondary school education or at least 5 years of machine operation experience, preferably with wood processing (Timber Machining training is considered an asset).




- Mechanically inclined/maintenance experience (timber machinist or millwright background preferred)
- Flexibility, adaptability and a willingness to work any shift with possible overtime hours, which may include weekends.
- Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test as a condition of employment.
