General Summary Under the authority of the Director of Operations, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the installation, regular and periodic maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, adjustment and inspection of the components of the mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of the different machines and equipment in the Valleyfield factory.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Install new equipment and modify the equipment already in place;

Perform preventive maintenance of equipment;

See to the proper functioning of production equipment;

Documenting the registry for data tracking;

Revise, understand and follow all regulated operations procedures (POR)in order to respond to good manufacturing practices (GMP).

All tasks must be done according to the standard operating procedures (SOP).





Qualifications

Hold a DEP in industrial mechanical or mechanical maintenance;

Excellent knowledge of plumbing and welding;

Rigour;

Be autonomous and able to work as a team;

Ability to withstand heat;

Demonstrate ingenuity and resourcefulness;

Valuable dexterity and physical fitness;

Be able to handle up to 20 kg (45lbs).
