Join Genome BC as a Research and Innovation Manager specializing in Fisheries and Aquaculture, driving collaboration and technology advancements. Work to enhance BC's sustainable blue economy. This full time role replaces maternity leave and reports to the Director of Research & Innovation, Agrifood and Natural Resources.

You will prioritize partnerships and co-investment opportunities with industry, government, and non-profits while leading strategic initiatives aimed at improving aquatic ecosystems. Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate technology readiness for aquaculture applications
- Develop key partnerships with stakeholders and governments
- Assist in crafting compelling funding proposals
- Monitor project deliverables and performance
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Genome BC’s initiatives Requirements:
- Graduate degree with minimum 3 years of experience
- Background in biotechnology or biological engineering
- Proven strategic partnership experiences
- Strong financial analysis and project management skills
- Ability to adapt and succeed in fast-paced environments Lead impactful projects at Genome BC that promote sustainable development and innovation for British Columbia's fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
