Join Genome BC as a Research and Innovation Manager specializing in Fisheries and Aquaculture, driving collaboration and technology advancements. Work to enhance BC's sustainable blue economy.

This full-time role replaces maternity leave and reports to the Director of Research & Innovation, Agrifood and Natural Resources. You will prioritize partnerships and co-investment opportunities with industry, government, and non-profits while leading strategic initiatives aimed at improving aquatic ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:



• Evaluate technology readiness for aquaculture applications • Develop key partnerships with stakeholders and governments • Assist in crafting compelling funding proposals • Monitor project deliverables and performance • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Genome BC’s initiatives

Requirements: • Graduate degree with minimum 3 years of experience • Background in biotechnology or biological engineering • Proven strategic partnership experiences • Solid financial analysis and project management skills • Ability to adapt and succeed in fast-paced environments
