Overview The Manager, Strategic Finance is an individual contributor role responsible for supporting the company's M&A;, financing, and capital markets activities. This person will be reporting to the VP, FP&A; and will work directly with senior finance leadership on financial modelling, due diligence, and transaction execution across acquisitions, debt refinancings, equity raises, and public markets initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain financial models to support M&A; opportunities, such as three-statement, valuation (e.g. DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions), and merger models
- Support financial due diligence workstreams and prepare investment memos and board materials for acquisitions
- Support debt financing processes, including lender/investor materials, covenant and credit agreement analysis, and scenario modelling
- Support equity capital raises, including coordination with underwriters and legal counsel
- Support up-listing, cross-listing, and IPO readiness workstreams
- Support investor relations activities, including preparation of quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations, and responses to analyst/investor inquiries
- Partner with Legal, Accounting, and external advisors (investment banks, auditors, law firms) on deal execution and documentation
- Prepare presentation materials for the Board of Directors and executive leadership
- Conduct industry, competitor, and market research to inform strategic decisions
- Perform ad hoc strategic finance analysis as required

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Professional finance designation (CPA or CFA) required
- MBA is an asset





Experience And Skills

- 5–7 years of relevant experience, with meaningful time in investment banking, corporate development, transaction advisory, or private equity
- Direct experience executing M&A; transactions
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills; expert-level Excel
- Exposure to debt financing and/or equity capital markets
- Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and corporate finance principles
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce board-ready materials
- High attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and sense of ownership
- Solid strategic and analytical thinking
- Exposure to infrastructure, construction, and/or technology industries are an asset
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing priorities
