Manual Machinist Job Summary: We are looking for a Manual Machinist to join our team. In this position, you will be repairing and manufacturing parts using a variety of equipment, such as lathes, drill presses, milling machines and use precision measuring tools. Robust mechanical aptitude would be an asset as you will also be working on some hydraulic components and machines.

Our ideal candidate has completed a training program through an industry apprenticeship or earned a machinist certificate from a vocational school. Apprenticeship program with us could be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Repair or manufacture parts from sample pieces or drawings and ensure proper fit
- Follow blueprints to create new parts
- Operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, etc
- Use of manual tools; tapping, deburring etc.
- Inspect and maintain equipment and tools

Requirements and Qualifications





- Machinist certificate of apprenticeship vocational certificate - block 3 apprentice will be considered.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Lathe machining experience
- Blueprinting reading skills

This role is a full-time, weekday schedule (8-5, Monday-Friday) Minimum of 40 hours per week with potential for additional hours if needed. We offer a competitive salary and the hourly rate for this position will be negotiated based upon experience and skill.
