Artron Bioresearch Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in IVD Production to support in vitro diagnostic (IVD) manufacturing and process development. The successful candidate will complete paid, hands-on training and carry out manufacturing engineering work.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, production methods, equipment setups, and workflows for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) products.
- Translate product designs and technical requirements into documented, repeatable manufacturing processes.
- Lead engineering activities for process transfer, pilot builds, production scale-up, and new product introduction.
- Develop and execute process studies, equipment qualification, and process validation activities, as applicable.
- Analyze manufacturing data and investigate process failures, quality issues, and yield losses; develop and implement engineering solutions.
- Optimize manufacturing processes for product quality, consistency, throughput, and efficiency.
- Provide technical direction to production personnel on approved processes and oversee the implementation of engineering changes.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Production, and Quality teams to maintain technical documentation and support the applicable quality management system, including ISO 13485 requirements.





This is an engineering position focused on process design, development, technical problem-solving, and improvement. Routine production-line operation is not the primary function of the role.

Qualifications

Required

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Manufacturing, Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3 years of relevant experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Production Engineer, or in a comparable engineering role.
- Demonstrated experience designing or improving manufacturing processes and solving technical production problems.
- Ability to prepare engineering documentation, analyze process data, and work with cross-functional teams.
- Authorization to work in Canada during the initial employment period with Artron Bioresearch Inc.
- Ability to work on-site in Burnaby, BC during the initial period and, if separately offered employment by KEVA Inc. and authorized to work in the United States, on-site in Blaine, WA.

Preferred

- Experience in IVD, medical devices, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience with process validation, equipment qualification, design transfer, and ISO 13485.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
