Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed Manufacturing routings, Work instructions and Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Structural Assemblies, Composites, or Avionics installations.

Streamline Production workflows and improve overall operational efficiency.

Perform technical studies and conduct analysis of existing or proposed operations.

Develop manufacturing plans, including sequence of operations, tooling requirements, equipment requirements, work methods, and detailed manufacturing method for complex assemblies and installations.

Assist with Make or Buy proposals.

Ensure Engineering Change Orders are seamlessly integrated into shop-floor documentation within targeted lead times.

Collaborate with cross functional teams on matters concerning product quality, tooling, inspection, scheduling, corrective actions, and continuous improvements.

Investigate manufacturing-related non-conformances (NCRs) and support the development and implementation of repair and disposition proposals.

Ensure Quality policies are being implemented.





Ensure all manufacturing activities are performed in accordance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Skills &

Experience: 3 to 5 years’ experience.

Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and controlling Production BOMs, Manufacturing routings, Work instructions, and SOPs.

Experience with ERP systems. (Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is an asset)

Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprint reading, shop math, Manufacturing processes, and Engineering configuration requirements.

Knowledge of CAD software such as CATIA, SOLID EDGE, AUTOCAD is an asset.

Strong analytical problem-solving skills, active listening, and transparent communication when collaborating with shop floor assembly technicians.

Educational or Academic Requirements: Manufacturing Engineering Technologist Diploma or equivalent education and experience
