We're Hiring: Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

WDK is growing, and we're looking for a Business Development Representative to build and own our new client acquisition function as we continue expanding across the GTA and surrounding areas.

We specialize in residential and commercial unit turnover renovations across multiple regions. When a unit goes vacant, we make it rent-ready. As we grow, our success depends on winning the right accounts: the property management companies, landlords, and building owners across Toronto and surrounding areas, who need turnovers done properly.

This isn't a traditional sales role, and it isn't lead-chasing. It's account-based hunting: you'll work from a named list of the property management companies we want as clients, research them deeply, and pursue them across multiple channels until they're on board. You'll be building the sales system that drives the company's growth.

About the role:

You'll run WDK's social media and online presence, handling everything from creating and shooting content to editing and publishing it. Your job is to build our brand, increase our visibility and give people a real look at the work we do and who we are. You may need to appear on camera as needed.

What You'll Do:

- Plan and run a consistent organic content calendar across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms as they become relevant.
- Write clear, engaging copy for social posts, captions, blogs, email campaigns, website pages and marketing materials.
- Film, edit and produce short-form and long-form video content, including Reels, TikToks, Stories and YouTube videos.
- Capture before-and-after photos and videos of completed unit turnovers to showcase our work.




- Appear on camera as needed for walkthroughs, behind-the-scenes content, announcements and tips.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages and building relationships with followers.
- Track performance using platform analytics, report on results, and adjust strategy based on what works.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform features and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to capture content opportunities and support company goals.
- Support paid social campaigns and other marketing initiatives as needed.

What You Bring

- Proven content writing experience, with a solid portfolio of social copy, blogs or marketing materials.
- Hands-on experience creating and editing video content with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube, including how content differs across each.
- Comfort being on camera, or a willingness to grow into it.
- Familiarity with scheduling and design tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, Buffer or Canva.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media is a plus

Nice to Have

- Graphic design skills.
- Experience in construction, renovation, real estate or property management marketing.

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
