Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and shipping & receiving processes.

This position requires candidates to be physically capable of handling heavy loads and operating various types of industrial equipment. Prior warehouse experience is highly valued to ensure smooth integration into our team.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Load, unload and move materials manually using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Electronically pick and input stock travelers and move tickets
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Report any shortages or discrepancies
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards
- Responsible for returning damaged parts to vendors
- Scanning and filing of completed travelers and packing slips
- Prepare appropriate paperwork for shipping, including bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Store materials in designated locations following safety and organizational guidelines
- Physically pick parts within the warehouse to fill travelers
- Process RMA's




- Maintain a clean and hazard free workspace
- Perform routine pre-use inspections on material handling equipment and report and maintenance needs
- Adhere to established safe working procedures & regulations
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Forklift Operator’s certificate
- High school diploma

- Ability to read manufacturing drawings

Pay: $20.00 per hour
