Responsibilities

- Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare different types of meat according to specifications and safety standards
- Ensure all meat products are properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations, tools, and equipment throughout your shift
- Assist customers by providing knowledgeable recommendations and answering questions about meat cuts and preparation methods
- Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure product freshness
- Collaborate with team members to manage inventory levels, restock displays,



and organize storage areas efficiently
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene

Qualifications

- Previous experience in the food industry, especially in butchery or meat cutting, is highly preferred
- Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques, meat cuts, and food safety protocols
- Ability to handle knives and cutting tools safely and accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with packaging processes for retail or wholesale meat products
- Kitchen experience or related food handling background is a plus
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety standards, and attention to detail at all times

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
