Ketawala, we are committed to providing comprehensive primary care from a collaborative team-based approach. Our official space will include 3 clinical rooms with on-site specialists—Medical Estheticians, Pain Specialists, as well as a Certified Pedorthist and Kinesiologist.

We offer a modern, supportive environment with access to some of the newest laser technology, and the use of our experienced Primary Care Assistants and medical billers. For EMR, we use Jane.

Position Summary

Velísse Aesthetics & Wellness is seeking a compassionate, motivated Medical Esthetician to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will work alongside our licensed physician and dermatologist to provide pre- and post-treatment care related to medical aesthetics and minor dermatological procedures. They will be responsible for providing high-quality, continuous primary care to a diverse panel of patients—both long-term and walk-in.

Duties associated with the role include skin analysis and consultations, facials and skin treatments, laser hair removal and skin resurfacing, advanced treatments (e.g., chemical peels, microdermabrasion), body treatments, product recommendations and sales, as well as sanitation and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a patient panel, providing primary care and skincare management.
- Provide counselling on health promotion and skincare management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including other Physicians, Clinical Assistants, Specialists and Primary Care Assistants.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using EMR.
- Maintain clean, calming and safe spaces for patient care.

Qualifications

- Requirements:

- Completion of an accredited esthetics diploma (approx. 1,060 hours).
- Specialised training in advanced techniques like lasers, chemical peels, and microneedling.
- A valid professional licensure (Licensed Technician / Certified Esthetician).
- Additional certifications and training considered to be an asset.

- Experience: Previous experience in a medical aesthetic setting is an asset.

- Skills: Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively, blend advanced clinical and interpersonal skills, and perform non-invasive skin care procedures.

Compensation & Benefits

- Compensation: Hourly ($18 per hour)
- Benefits: Additional training in laser and microneedling technology provided.
