Job Title: Casual Medical Office Assistant (MOA)

Location: Medical clinic in 100 Mile House, BC

Hours

Part time/casual position with a minimum of 5 hours per week on Mondays from 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Additional hours may be available for short-notice sick coverage and vacation coverage, with the possibility of increased regular hours in the future.

Position Details

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized Medical Office Assistant to join a busy primary care clinic in 100 Mile House. The successful applicant should enjoy working with people and be comfortable in a patient-facing environment.

Duties may include

- Greeting and checking in patients
- Answering phones and responding to patient inquiries
- Scheduling and managing appointments
- General reception and administrative duties
- Working within an electronic medical record (EMR)




- Assisting with day-to-day clinic operations

Qualifications/Skills

- Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector clearance
- Friendly, professional, and good with people
- Reliable and able to provide occasional short-notice coverage
- Basic computer skills and the ability to work comfortably in a paper-free/electronic clinic environment
- Previous medical office, MOA, or reception experience is an asset but not required
- Training will be provided

Wage: $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience
