Responsibilities

- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to obtain optimal images.
- Operate radiologic equipment, specifically X-ray machine, following safety protocols.
- Ensure all imaging procedures adhere to established safety standards and medical guidelines to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Review and analyze images for clarity, accuracy, and completeness; make adjustments or repeat scans as necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment usage in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic data.
- Keep equipment well-maintained, report malfunctions promptly,



and assist in inventory management of supplies.

Qualifications

- Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program is required.
- Proven knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret physician orders and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Prior experience operating diagnostic imaging equipment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions and safety protocols diligently.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a quick-paced setting.

Pay: $34.50-$44.00 per hour
