Job Title: Medical Office Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Medical Office Administrator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to manage both administrative and clinical tasks.
This role involves triaging phone calls, assisting with patient care, managing office operations, and supporting the physician in daily duties.
The position requires an organized individual who can handle a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Triage incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, answer patient inquiries, and relay messages to the physician as necessary.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient intake forms, maintain and update patient demographics, and ensure smooth office operations.
- Multitasking: Balance office administration with clinical support duties, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve patient concerns or office issues promptly and professionally.
- Clinical Support: Assist physicians as needed, prepare examination rooms, and maintain medical supplies.
- Room Preparation: Stock and maintain patient rooms with necessary medical supplies and ensure rooms are ready for patient visits.
- Medical Supply Management: Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the physician and other office staff to maintain a positive and effective workplace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in a medical office or clinical environment strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced workplace.
- Experience with Avaros/Oscar EMR preferred, but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, basic triaging, and clinical procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
