Your new role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on QA/QC Technician to join the underground Technical Services team. This position is heavily focused on drill quality control, Boretrak execution and analysis, underground surveying/data collection, drill-and-blast QA/QC, and communication of results between Operations and Engineering/Technical Services.

- Perform underground drill quality control and QA/QC activities
- Execute and interpret Boretrak surveys independently
- Conduct collar pickups and underground surveying activities
- Verify drillhole accuracy against design plans
- Work directly with drilling and blasting crews underground
- Collect, analyze, and communicate QA/QC findings to Engineering and Technical Services teams
- Support drill & blast optimization through accurate field data collection
- Assist with drone surveys, pull testing, and geotechnical data collection as required

What you'll need to succeed





- Underground mining experience
- Hands-on Boretrak experience and data interpretation
- Drill & blast QA/QC knowledge
- Experience performing collar pickups and surveying activities
- Strong communication skills with Operations and Engineering teams
- Ability to work independently in an active underground environment
- Mine Technician, Mining Technician, QA/QC Technician, or Drill & Blast Technician experience
- Underground surveying background
- Deswik experience
- Drone operation experience
- Geotechnical or pull testing exposure

This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking someone who can step into the role and contribute immediately with proven underground technical experience.

- Base salary range from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
