Title: Mobile Patrol Security Guard

Location: London, Ontario

Security Guard Group Limited is currently seeking a part time casual mobile patrol security guard for assignments in London, Ontario. This position may transition into a full-time role based on performance, operational requirements, and availability.

Mobile patrol security guards are responsible for maintaining a visible presence, conducting patrols of various sites, responding to alarms, and protecting residential and commercial properties. This role requires professionalism, strong situational awareness, and the ability to work independently during variable shifts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Valid Ontario security guard license
- Valid Class G driver’s license
- Currently 25+ years of age for insurance eligibility
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification from a WSIB approved training provider
- Clean criminal record
- Clean driving record suitable for mobile patrol duties
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle during night shifts and in all weather conditions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working overnights
- Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts

Note: Candidates must meet company vehicle insurance eligibility requirements for mobile patrol operations.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled interior and exterior patrols of residential and commercial properties
- Perform mobile patrol inspections and site checks
- Respond to alarm activations in a safe, professional, and timely manner
- Accurately complete electronic and written shift logs and incident reports
- Act as a visible deterrent to unauthorized activity




- Enforce property rules and site-specific procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and emergency services when required
- Operate patrol vehicles safely and responsibly at all times
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while representing Security Guard Group Limited
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety requirements

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

- Job type: Part-time, casual
- Schedule: Variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Work location: In person, mobile patrol sites throughout London, Ontario

BACKGROUND SCREENING Employment is conditional upon meeting all licensing requirements and successfully completing background screening as permitted by law.
