We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Modular Home Crawl Space Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will specialize in inspecting and levelling modular homes, ensuring each project meets levelling criteria . Your expertise will help transform homes into safe, energy-efficient spaces while providing exceptional service to homeowners.
This position offers an energetic environment where your hands-on skills and construction knowledge will make a tangible difference in people's lives. A pickup truck is a necessity for this position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct crawl space inspections to identify issues such as out-of-level due to sinking piers, moisture intrusion, structural damage, or pest infestations.
- Prepare work sites by utilizing hand tools and construction equipment to remove debris, old insulation, or damaged materials.
- Use carpentry skills to build or modify support structures, access points, or custom components as specified in project plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and Qualifications
- Proven experience with construction projects involving carpentry, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying or related trades.
- Familiarity with hand tools and construction equipment essential for crawl space work.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques, drywall finishing, plumbing basics, and flooring installation is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working in restoration or home improvement projects is a plus.
- Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
- Construction experience is mandatory. Training on crawl space techniques will be provided.
