Part-time | Mornings | ~ 1.5- 2 hours/day

Love mornings, driving solo, and the idea of a small, consistent side gig that leaves the rest of your day free?

The Laundry Room is looking for a ridiculously reliable Pickup & Delivery Driver to handle a daily route between Waterloo and Cambridge for one of our commercial laundry clients.

The Gig

You’ll make one round trip each morning:

The Laundry Room → Cambridge → The Laundry Room The route is approximately 26 km each way (52 km round trip) and is expected to take ~1.5 - 2 hours per day.

We need someone who can commit to a minimum of 5 mornings per week, with the opportunity to take the route up to 7 days per week if you’d like the extra days.

Pay:

- $40 per completed daily route

What You’ll Do

- Leave The Laundry Room with the previous day’s clean laundry
- Deliver it to our commercial client in Cambridge
- Pick up their next load of bagged laundry
- Bring it back to The Laundry Room
- Load and unload laundry bags
- Make sure everything gets where it belongs
- Be friendly and qualified with our client
- Let us know promptly if traffic, weather or anything unexpected is going to cause a delay

No washing. No drying. No folding. We have Laundry Artists for that. Your job is to keep the laundry moving.

You Might Be Our Person If...

- You are extremely dependable — this is the big one!




- You have a valid Ontario driver’s license and valid automobile insurance
- You have your own reliable vehicle with enough room to transport bagged laundry (You’re comfortable lifting and carrying laundry bags - approx 80-100lbs total per trip)
- You enjoy working independently
- You’re friendly and professional with customers
- Mornings don’t scare you
- You like the idea of a short, predictable job that leaves the rest of your day free

Schedule

- Morning route
- Approximately 1.5 - 2 hours per day
- Minimum 5 days per week
- Up to 7 days per week available

Because this route supports a commercial client who relies on us every day, reliability really matters. We need someone who will show up when they say they will and take ownership of getting the route done.
