Required Skills

- Solid Python skills for automation and tooling
- Experience interacting with various API endpoints and protocols
- Basic understanding of design principles of large scale systems for both software and hardware
- Willingness to research, be curious and propose solutions.
- Hands-on experience with NetBox or an equivalent DCIM or IPAM system, ideally including data modelling and API integration
- CI/CD pipeline experience, Jenkins preferred
- Working knowledge of Bash and Linux
- Practical familiarity with data center hardware and networking equipment including servers, switches, structured cabling, cross-connects, power distribution — enough to model it correctly and specify work against it
- Comfort owning a system end to end.
- Ability to work effectively with remote execution partners across time zones

Nice to have

- Experience in a colocation or multi-site estate.
- Exposure to latency-sensitive infrastructure
- Infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Ansible or Terraform
- Experience with hardware lifecycle, asset management, or procurement workflows
- Background in a regulated workplace with formal change management and audit requirements including Disaster Recovery.
