Overnight Security Dispatch & Mobile Supervisor

Viking Shield Security Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Overnight Security Dispatch & Mobile Supervisor to oversee overnight security operations, coordinate guards, manage active shifts, and conduct mobile site visits.

This is a 12-hour overnight position, 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM, 4 days per week. Candidates must have previous dispatch experience. Security dispatch experience is strongly preferred, but candidates with solid dispatch experience in other industries may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and coordinate overnight security operations and active sites.
- Monitor all scheduled shifts and ensure guards sign in and arrive on time.
- Communicate with guards before and during shifts through WhatsApp, phone calls, and company applications.
- Arrange replacements and emergency coverage for call-offs, no-shows, late guards, and last-minute shifts.
- Prioritize incoming shift requests and assign available guards appropriately.
- Conduct mobile supervisory/site visits during the overnight shift.
- Verify guard attendance, uniform standards, site performance, and compliance with post orders.
- Maintain accurate records of daily sign-ins, shift changes, replacements, incidents, and dispatch activities.
- Respond promptly to client, guard, and operational concerns.
- Escalate serious incidents or staffing issues to management when required.
- Provide guidance to security guards and dispatch staff regarding company policies and procedures.




- Prepare clear shift notes and provide a proper handover to the incoming operations/dispatch team.

Requirements
- Previous dispatching experience is mandatory — security dispatch experience is preferred, but other dispatch backgrounds will be considered.
- Previous experience in security operations, supervision, mobile patrol, or guard management is an asset.
- Must be available to work 9:00 PM–9:00 AM, 4 days per week.
- Must have a valid driver's licence and be comfortable conducting overnight site visits.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills, including professional emails and client communication.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, Microsoft Office, phone systems, scheduling platforms, and mobile applications.
- Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites, guards, calls, and staffing issues simultaneously.
- Must remain calm and make appropriate decisions during emergencies and last-minute staffing situations.
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and able to work independently overnight.
