: Under the direction of the Manager, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing services to urban and rural Home Care clients within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The home base for this position is 1504 Albert Street Regina.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

- Minimum of two (2) years recent related nursing experience is required

Education

- Current registration with CRNS and current BCLS certification.
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing

Licenses

- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Registered Nurse (RN)

Other Education and Training

- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)

Knowledge and Abilities

- Knowledge in nursing process
- Demonstrated independent nursing judgment in a community-based environment
- Ability to promote effective relationships within the SHA and the community.
- Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making
- Demonstrate communication skills to create positive outcomes/build relationships
- Current clinical knowledge and skill are required in a broad range of areas.
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement.
- Ability to work independently and as a leader of a multidisciplinary team

- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Travel required to various community sites within Regina PHC Networks

- Community nursing experience is an asset
- Scheduled hours of work may be reduced when a statutory holiday is recognized
