POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Nutritional Behaviour Coach to join our team in a full time position.

The successful candidate will support patients as they build sustainable habits related to nutrition, health, and overall wellbeing. This position requires someone who can provide practical guidance, help patients work through challenges, and create a supportive and respectful experience during every appointment.

The ideal candidate will have a medical or clinical background and a genuine interest in nutrition, behaviour change, preventative health, and long term patient care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide individualized nutritional and behavioural coaching to patients.
- Help patients develop realistic and sustainable health habits.
- Support patients in following their personalized food and lifestyle strategies.
- Conduct regular patient check ins and document progress accurately.
- Complete InBody scans and explain measurements to patients.
- Help patients identify barriers, set goals, and maintain accountability.
- Collaborate with the physician and other clinic team members to support each patient’s care plan.




- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Communicate patient progress and concerns clearly with the appropriate members of the clinical team.
- Create a welcoming, respectful, and supportive patient experience.

QUALIFICATIONS A relevant medical or clinical background is required.

Suitable professional backgrounds may include:

- Nurse Practitioner
- Lab Technician
- Pharmacist
- Nurse or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional

Applicants must hold any registration, certification, or professional authorization required for their role in Nova Scotia.

Experience administering B12 injections is considered an asset but is not required.

Experience in nutrition, health coaching, behaviour change, metabolic health, weight management, or patient education is also considered an asset.

The successful candidate must demonstrate solid communication, organization, discretion, and attention to detail.

COLLABORATION IS ESSENTIAL

Lotus Health Clinic has a small, closely connected team where collaboration is essential. The successful candidate will work closely with the physician and other team members to provide a consistent and supportive patient experience.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation and benefits will be discussed with selected applicants based on qualifications and experience.
