Jonnys Oilfield Hauling is looking for an experienced, safety-focused Rigger (swamper) / Shop Hand to join our team in Nisku, Alberta.

Responsibilities & Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Previous experience working with bed trucks and truck-mounted winches is required
- Experience using tire chains, slings, and various rigging equipment is required
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safe load handling practices
- Assist with loading, unloading, securing, and moving equipment and cargo
- Perform general shop and yard duties, including keeping work areas clean, organized, and secure
- Assist mechanics and other shop personnel with basic maintenance and shop tasks
- Help with washing, cleaning, greasing, and general upkeep of trucks and equipment
- Assist with checking, organizing, and maintaining tools, rigging equipment, chains, straps, and other shop supplies
- Assist with moving and organizing equipment, parts, and materials around the shop and yard
- Experience operating a loader is considered an asset




- Valid H2S Alive and First Aid certifications are considered an asset
- Ability to work safely in an oilfield environment and follow company safety procedures
- Willingness to work on-call shifts as required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
