We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Substitute Teachers to join our educational team. This role involves stepping into classrooms on short notice to provide continuity of instruction and support for students. Responsibilities

- Fill in for regular teachers during their absence, ensuring lessons are delivered effectively
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or adapt as needed to meet student needs
- Supervise students in various classroom activities, ensuring safety and engagement
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom setting




- Collaborate with school staff and communicate effectively regarding student progress and classroom needs

Requirements

- ECE full-certificate or ECEA certificate required
- Prior classroom experience is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in caregiving roles is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
- Background in early childhood education or working with children is highly desirable
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable attitude towards diverse student populations
- Ability to pass background checks and any required certifications for working with children

Job Type: Casual Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
