(OP1 ) / production pack department

Monday to Friday (40 hours) 7:00 am -3:30 pm

- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am to 15h30pm (40 hours)
- Hourly rate: $20.09

Role and responsibilities According to production needs, the (OP1) performs a variety of tasks, as follows:

1. Operate production equipment
2. Operate or Assist operators on machines
3. Work individually or in assembly team

4. Manipulate products
5. Unitize loads at end of machine
6. Create operating system tags and apply to loads
7. Strip scrap from boxes and foam sheets / use band saw
8. Bale scrap / Sweep / Housekeeping / Keep a clean safe working area

9. Palletize / Unitize product
10. Complete Quality Reports and all other required documentation
11. Perform all other tasks assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

1. Technically capable to learn and operate production equipment

2. Interpret drawings and specifications
3. Must exhibit safe work ethics
4.



Fluent with basic measurement devices in Metric/Imperial and conversion capabilities
5. Must be able to handle pressure well and work in a fast-paced environment
6. Must be organized, detail and quality oriented
7. Have a positive, engaged contributor style attitude
8. Previous work experience / training / education is an asset

Working Conditions: The position requires continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting and carrying. Work outside and inside, work around machinery.
