Painter/Labourer

Job Summary

We are seeking Painter/Labourer to join our team.Our painting company (32 years running in Squamish) is currently looking for a full time staff member for 4-6 weeks as a painters helper to finish out our exterior season.

Wage starting at $24 per hour.

Work is subject to weather (rainy days may slightly change the hours) This role involves performing residential, commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good communication skills. This position is full time , pay-rolled and covered by Worksafe B.C

Duties

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure quality finishes
- Apply paint, stain, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment on residential, commercial projects
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met on time





Requirements

- If no experience in painting, training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials and working at heights on scaffolding or ladders
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact professionally with clients
- Good time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Ability to work safely with others.
