Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Part-time Assistant Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning setting for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a love for learning, develop essential skills, and ensure every child's individual needs are met.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while gaining valuable classroom experience. The shift is 3:00pm to 6:00pm/ Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Support children during classroom routines, including meals, rest periods, and transitions between activities
- Foster positive interactions with children, encouraging participation and cooperation
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support individual needs and progress
- Support children with diverse needs,



including those with disabilities or special requirements
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to early childhood education

Requirements

- Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood education settings is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Passion for teaching and supporting children's growth and development
- Knowledge of basic math concepts suitable for early childhood education
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic setting
