Hide N Seek Indoor Playground & Café is a busy family entertainment facility serving children and families in Edmonton.

Our team works together to provide a SAFE, CLEAN, FUN and HELPFUL workplace for our guests and coworkers.

We are looking for a reliable, positive and flexible Part-Time Team Member to join our team.

This position is especially suited for someone who is looking for 2–3 shifts per week and enjoys working weekends.

What We're Looking For

- Is reliable and punctual
- Has strong Saturday and/or Sunday availability
- Can commit to a regular schedule of approximately 2–3 shifts per week
- Is willing to occasionally pick up an extra shift when another team member is sick, on vacation, or unavailable
- Is comfortable working in a busy setting with children and families
- Has a positive attitude and friendly customer-service approach
- Can work independently without needing constant supervision
- Is comfortable moving between different responsibilities
- Is willing to learn and be cross-trained in different areas of the facility
- Understands that cleaning and maintaining the facility is an important part of the job

Your Responsibilities Depending on the shift and business needs, responsibilities may include:

Front Desk & Customer Service

- Welcome guests with a friendly and helpful attitude
- Process admissions, memberships and payments
- Answer customer questions
- Assist with bookings and general inquiries
- Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk
- Follow cash-handling and POS procedures

Play Area & Facility

- Monitor and maintain play areas
- Help keep the facility clean, safe and organized




- Check and clean washrooms and common areas
- Assist with cleaning throughout the shift and at closing
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor

Birthday Parties & Events

- Assist with birthday parties and private events
- Help prepare and clean party rooms
- Support party coordinators when needed
- Help ensure guests have a positive experience

Café & Team Support

- Assist with basic café responsibilities when required
- Help coworkers during busy periods
- Complete assigned opening or closing duties
- Support other departments when needed

Flexibility Is Important This position is not just about filling your regular scheduled shifts.

Because we operate a busy family facility, our staffing needs can change when employees are sick, take vacation, have school commitments or are unexpectedly unavailable.

We are looking for team members who can occasionally say:

“I can help cover that shift.”

You will have a regular schedule, but additional hours may become available, particularly on weekends and during busy periods.

We understand that you may have school, another job or other commitments. We are not expecting unlimited availability.



What is important to us is that the availability you provide is reliable and honest.

Schedule

Approximately 2–3 shifts per week / 10–20 hours, depending on availability and business needs.

Weekend availability is strongly preferred and may be required for some shifts.

Important This position involves active work. Team members may spend time standing, walking, cleaning, assisting customers, working around children and moving between different areas of the facility.
