Our Optical store is looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Part-Time Optical Sales & Social Media Associate to join our team.

We are looking for someone with previous optical industry experience who enjoys working with customers and is also comfortable with Instagram and social media content.

Responsibilities

- Assist customers with frame selection and eyewear purchases.
- Explain basic lens options, coatings, and eyewear features.
- Assist with customer orders, pickups, payments, and general optical store operations.
- Maintain frame displays and keep the store organized and presentable.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Communicate with customers in English and Korean or Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese).
- Assist with creating and posting content on Instagram and other social media platforms.
- Take photos and short videos of frames, new arrivals, promotions, and store activities.
- Create Instagram Stories, Reels, and posts and help maintain an active social media presence.
- Stay familiar with current social media trends and suggest ideas to promote the store.




- Work closely with our opticians and optometrists to provide an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in an optical store or optical industry is required.
- Must be able to communicate in Korean or Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese), in addition to English.
- Familiar and comfortable with Instagram and social media platforms.
- Comfortable creating basic photos, videos, Stories, Reels, and posts.
- Good customer service and sales skills.
- Knowledge of frames, lenses, and basic optical terminology.
- Friendly, outgoing, reliable, and professional.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Licensed optician status is not required.

Compensation & Schedule Pay: $17–$20/hour, depending on experience

Position: Part time

Location: Yonge & Finch, North York

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
