We are seeking a Part-time or Full-Time Sales Associate to join our team at Beck Antiques and Jewellery.

The Sales

Associate will be responsible for assisting customers in finding and purchasing unique and high-quality antique items, while maintaining a clean and organized sales floor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for antiques, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Along with antiques you will learn about coins, jewellery and gemstones, military memorabilia, and so much more!

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and assist them in finding and purchasing antique items
- Educate customers on the history and uniqueness of each item
- Manage and maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Assist with inventory management and pricing
- Buy antiques, jewellery, and many other interesting items for stock
- Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers and team members
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the store manager

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18+
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred




- Passion for antiques and knowledge of antique items and history
- Openness to learning new skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions: This is a part-time position that requires working on weekends, evenings, and holidays. The Sales Associate will work on the sales floor and may be required to lift and move heavy items.
