PARTS & SERVICE ASSISTANT

Coastal Mechanical Limited – Clarenville, NL

Coastal Mechanical Limited is seeking a friendly, organized and dependable Parts & Service Assistant to join our team in Clarenville.

This is a full-time, front-line position within our Parts and Service Department. The successful candidate will be one of the first points of contact for our customers and will work closely with the Parts/Service Manager to provide customer service and administrative support and help keep the department running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet customers and assist with general parts and service inquiries

· Answer incoming telephone calls and direct calls or take messages as required

· Provide friendly and professional service to customers both in person and by telephone

· Process receiving paperwork for incoming parts and supplies

· Prepare and process customer invoices

· Maintain accurate and organized Parts and Service paperwork and records

· Provide administrative support to the Parts/Service Manager

· Assist with day-to-day activities within the Parts and Service Department

· Perform other related duties as required

What We're Looking For The successful candidate should:





· Have robust customer service and communication skills

· Be comfortable working with customers in person and over the telephone

· Be organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment

· Have good computer and data-entry skills

· Have strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Be dependable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team

· Have previous experience in customer service, administration, parts, service or a similar position

Experience in a parts, service, automotive, equipment or mechanical environment would be an asset; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.

Position Details

Location: Clarenville, Newfoundland and Labrador

Employment: Full-time, 40 hours per week
