Strathcona Long Term Care is looking for a Personal Support Worker in the role of BSO PSW. Strathcona is a 96 bed Home located in Mount Forest. The successful candidate will work with the BSO team as well as the nursing team to assist Residents.

The hours for this position would be 7am-3pm with flexibility required based on Resident needs. The normal scheduled work days may be changed by the employer as required to meet the care needs of the Residents. Weekend work may be included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Possess a Health Care Aide or PSW certificate with minimum 5 years experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



An emphasis on the ability to accurately document and the willingness to share knowledge through education. A demonstrated ability to work as a team member. Good physical health. Knowledge of and sensitivity to the aging process. Preference for the successful candidate to possess U-First, GPA and Montessori training or be willing to attend such programs
