We are a retail community pharmacy that has been serving Guelph community for over 50 years, We are looking for an experienced pharmacy assistant to join our team.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive and caring attitude.

Pharmacy assistant should be able to:

- Assisting the pharmacy manager with day-to-day tasks
- Greeting patients and providing superior customer service
- Answers phones and checks IVR voicemail messages.
- Entering and filling prescriptions accurately
- Experience with Fillware software is an asset
- Dealing with patients, healthcare professionals, third party insurances, and other staff members to ensure appropriate adjudication and processing of prescriptions
- Preparing and checking blister packs.
- Maintenance of pharmacy inventory by ordering, receiving, storing medications and expiry check.




- Receives general OTC inquiries from patients and referral to pharmacist when required.
- Handling customer prescriptions drop off and pick up
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assisting with cash responsibilities as required in the pharmacy
- 1 year pharmacy experience is preferred

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.70-$22.00 per hour
