- Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients- Prepare and package medications for distribution- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies- Enter patient information and prescriptions into the computer system- Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Compound medications.
- Requirements
- Previous one year of experience as a pharmacy assistant or technician preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a rapid-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Kroll software system
Compounding experience is an asset Spanish speaking is an asset

Knowledge of medical terminology is necessary to accurately interpret prescriptions and communicate with healthcare professionals.- Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate care to patients, including addressing their concerns and providing information to patients- Medication administration: Familiarity with different types of medications, dosage forms, and routes of administration.-Positive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitude Please note that this is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
