About the Position

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented individual to join our pharmacy team as a part-time cashier. This is a customer-service-focused position that plays an important role in keeping the pharmacy running smoothly.

Responsibilities

- Answering and directing telephone calls
- Providing friendly and skilled customer service
- Processing prescription refill requests
- Preparing medications for patient pickup and ensuring they are stored appropriately
- Ensuring prescriptions are provided to the correct patient
- Contacting patients regarding prescriptions that have not been picked up
- Operating and balancing cash tills
- Assisting with inventory management and stock organization
- Cleaning and maintaining an organized work environment
- Assisting with medication deliveries when needed
- Supporting pharmacists and pharmacy staff with other day-to-day tasks

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous pharmacy, retail,



or customer service experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable handling confidential patient information
- Ability to drive and willingness to assist with deliveries is an asset

Pay: From $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
