Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher who can comfortably teach AP physics along with high school level.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and deliver dynamic physics lessons aligned with curriculum standards that captivate students’ interest and promote active learning.
- Design assessments, assignments, and projects that evaluate student understanding and encourage scientific inquiry.
- Support students’ individual learning styles and needs, including those requiring special education accommodations.
- Incorporate technology and computer skills into lessons to enhance understanding of complex concepts such as mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, and electromagnetism.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that fosters respect, curiosity, and collaboration among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, curriculum development, and school-wide initiatives.
- Track student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to motivate improvement.

Skills

- Proven experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting, demonstrating patience and adaptability.
- Solid background in physics,



mathematics, and science education with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse learners.
- Experience tutoring students in physics or related subjects such as math or computer science to reinforce understanding outside the classroom.
- Excellent teaching skills combined with classroom experience that promotes an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills relevant to educational technology tools, virtual labs, or online teaching platforms.
- Knowledge of special education strategies to support students with unique learning needs effectively.
- Familiarity with curriculum standards for physics education at various grade levels to ensure comprehensive coverage of essential topics.
