We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Plongeur / Plongeuse to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties

- Thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using appropriate cleaning procedures
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and dining ware are sanitized and stored properly after use
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, sinks, and storage spaces to meet health standards
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by efficiently managing dish flow
- Follow safety protocols related to food handling and cleaning chemicals
- Contribute to a positive team environment by working collaboratively with restaurant staff and kitchen personnel

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling standards is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food service practices is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Solid attention to detail and reliability in completing assigned tasks
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills within the hospitality industry

Responsabilités

- Laver la vaisselle, les ustensiles et le matériel de cuisine
- Maintenir l’espace de plonge propre et organisé
- Ranger la vaisselle et le matériel aux endroits appropriés
- Effectuer certaines tâches de nettoyage de la cuisine
- Sortir les déchets et maintenir les zones de travail propres
- Aider l’équipe de cuisine avec des tâches simples lorsque nécessaire
- Respecter les normes d’hygiène et de salubrité

- Fiable et ponctuel(le)
- Rapide et efficace
- Capable de travailler dans un environnement dynamique
- Bonne attitude et esprit d’équipe
- Expérience en restauration considérée comme un atout, mais non obligatoire
