The role

We're hiring HDPE fusion technicians to join our [Field / Mechanical] crews. You'll install, fuse and test HDPE pipe systems on active job sites, working to the client's specifications and ACF's safety standards.

What you'll do

- Butt fuse, electrofuse and socket fuse HDPE pipe and fittings
- Set up, run and maintain fusion equipment, and keep fusion logs and data records accurate
- Read drawings, isometrics and procedures, and prepare pipe (cutting, facing, alignment)
- Help with pipe handling, installation, pressure testing and tie-ins
- Take part in daily hazard assessments and follow site safety rules
- Work with foremen,



QC and the other trades to hit schedule and quality targets

What you need

- A valid HDPE fusion ticket (butt fusion required; electrofusion is an asset)
- Field experience fusing HDPE pipe on industrial, municipal or oil and gas projects
- Current safety tickets: H2S Alive, CSTS/CSO, Standard First Aid, Ground Disturbance]
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather and do physically demanding work
