What does a Pre-Board Screening Officer do?

- Screen the travelling public and their belongings
- Ensure non-permitted items do not enter the secure area
- Control access to restricted areas
- Respond to alarms and report any events, illegal acts or violations
- Participate in emergency operations within the airport

Qualifications to become a Pre-Board Screening Officer?

- Must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Have a clean criminal record & eligible to obtain a RAIC (security clearance)
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be located near Fredericton or willing to relocate before starting.

Quelles sont les qualifications requises pour devenir agent de contrôle préembarquement?

- Être citoyen canadien ou résident permanent
- Être âgé de 18 ans ou plus
- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou l'équivalent
- Anglais et Français parlé et écrit
- Être éligible à l’obtention d’une CIZR
- Capable d'obtenir un certificat médical et de satisfaire aux exigences physiques
- Une année d'expérience en service à la clientèle
