Right Choice Energy Services Inc. (RCESI) is currently accepting applications for Journeyperson Pressure Welders to join our growing team based in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Shop and/or Site Supervisor(s), you will play an important role in supporting fabrication and construction activities in both our shop and field environments. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced welders looking to apply their skills in oil & gas facility fabrication, pressure welding, and piping environments.

DSP Welders are also welcome to apply. **

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Reading and interpreting multidisciplinary drawings, welding symbols, and specifications to determine layout and fabrication requirements in accordance with applicable codes, client specifications, and RCESI Welding Procedures (WPS)
- Fitting and welding structural and piping components using appropriate welding techniques based on the properties of various metals
- Safely operating welding equipment, air/oxy/fuel cutting equipment, power tools, hand tools, and mobile equipment as required and certified
- Safely performing welding and related work at heights from scaffolds or aerial work platforms as required
- Working in accordance with RCESI’s Quality Control and Safety Programs and applicable provincial and federal standards, codes, and regulations
- Maintaining productivity and quality standards while minimizing rework
- Completing required logbooks, daily equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and reporting equipment issues or major maintenance requirements to the Supervisor
- Maintaining clean, organized, and protected work areas, tools,



and equipment while communicating effectively with coworkers and Supervisor(s) to ensure timely and quality fabrication
- Performing other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will be:

- Possess a Journeyperson Welder certification with valid pressure welding certification recognized in Saskatchewan, or an interprovincial equivalent
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience with pipe fabrication and producing welds that successfully pass X-ray inspection in a production shop environment
- Hold valid F3/F4 qualifications
- Have a working knowledge of multidisciplinary activities, including civil, structural, and piping
- Be thoroughly familiar with applicable welding codes and able to follow and understand RCESI WPS requirements
- Be able to successfully complete required weld testing and produce welds that meet applicable requirements
- Be safety conscious, committed to meeting all safety requirements, and able to report fit for duty at the onset of each shift
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding work environment
- Be physically capable of performing the demands of the position, including lifting over 20 lbs, standing for extended periods, and demonstrating worksite mobility
- Be willing to work extended hours and weekends when required
- Hold or be willing to obtain, before their start date,



valid First Aid and H2S Alive certifications
- Be willing to travel throughout Southern Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba
- Hold a valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract

This is a safety-sensitive position. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test. In addition, audiometric and lung function testing will be scheduled by the Health & Safety Coordinator upon hire in accordance with applicable provincial regulations.
