We are hiring Production Assembly Technicians to support the manufacturing of medical devices in a precision-focused production environment.

The work involves assembling, inspecting, testing, documenting, and preparing small medical device components while following established procedures and quality standards.

Position Duties In this role, you will:

- Assemble small medical device components according to detailed work instructions
- Complete fine hand soldering using a microscope
- Apply glue or bonding materials to small components
- Use microscopes and camera-assisted equipment during detailed assembly work
- Inspect assembled components for quality and accuracy
- Perform required testing on completed assemblies
- Complete production records and quality documentation accurately
- Prepare completed devices for shipment
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow ISO 13485 requirements and established manufacturing procedures
- Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs when required
- Complete additional duties assigned by the Supervisor

Relevant Background Candidates with experience in any of the following areas may be well suited for this position:

- Medical device assembly
- Electronics assembly
- Micro-assembly
- Jewelry making or jewelry repair
- Watchmaking
- Laboratory or technical bench work
- Other work involving small components,



fine hand movements, or strong hand-eye coordination

Experience and Qualifications

- Minimum 6 to 12 months of relevant hands-on experience preferred
- Experience in medical device assembly, electronics, micro-assembly, jewelry, or similar precision work
- Hand soldering experience preferred
- Experience working with microscopes preferred
- Comfortable handling very small and delicate parts
- Able to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently
- Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments, including ISO 13485, is preferred
- Post-secondary education in biotechnology, medical, electronics, or a related field is preferred

Significant Production procedures are already established and standardized. Employees are expected to follow the approved process and are not permitted to troubleshoot, modify, or independently optimize manufacturing procedures.

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
