POSITION TITLE: Production Control – Co-ordinator

REPORTS TO: Production Control Supervisor

SUMMARY: In this position you will be part of the Supply Chain team and be mainly responsible for assisting all aspects of Production Control Related Activities and support in effectively implementing and achieving the Production Plan and Master Production Schedule. Your work will not only require close co-ordination with various departments on production planning related requirements but also support in Supply Chain Teams Activities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Monitor that the customer demand for Production Planning is accurately flowing through into Planning System and co-ordinate with relevant customers
- Facilitate on time delivery of material and ensure high level of production schedule attainment
- Co-ordinate with Production and Engineering departments regarding on Production BOM’s and their accuracy
- Understand Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and make sure accurate dependent demand is created
- Ensure production planning activities like create, modify, release, issue and closing of production orders is completed in a timely manner
- Identify bottlenecks related to capacity and material issues in achieving production plan and work towards a resolution
- Work with Remanufacturing team to ensure the customized BOM is correctly captured
- Ensure the material and labour are accurately captured for correct Production Order costing calculations.
- Assist with other planning related activities like performance metric reporting etc.




- Co-ordinate with Inventory control and Procurement teams to address any shortages and Inventory Inaccuracies that could affect production plan & schedule
- Understand the Engineering Changes (ECN) and perform the follow up tasks as required
- Work with Logistics team related to shipment of Finished Goods as required
- Co-ordinate and follow up with 3PL team as required for material requirements for production order plan
- Interface with Finance/Accounting to ensure accurate cost capture and reconciliation
- Perform any other system related transactions as required in the relevant supply chain activity
- Support the Supply Chain team with the documentation as required for ISO and other requirements

- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Materials Management or Supply Chain background with 2 or more years equivalent experience in Production Planning preferably in a Manufacturing Setting
- 1-2 years Hands on Experience using MRP preferably on Production Control Module in Microsoft D365 or similar ERP system
- 1-2 years using MS Office/ and Excel for data analysis on large data sets
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with constant shifting priorities
- Ability to complete assigned work and projects on time within a rapid, ever-changing environment
- Work effectively with minimal supervision. Works well in team environment
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
