“Accutec Steel Rule Die & Cutting Inc.” in Vaughan, ON is now hiring a full time and permanent ‘Production supervisor – machine shop’ to join our company.

JOB TITLE: Production supervisor – machine shop

LOCATION: 161 Connie Crescent, Unit 8-12,Concord, Ontario L4K 1L3 (1 Vacancy)

JOB TYPE: Regular

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time

ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as possible

SALARY: $38.00 per hour

HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 30 to 35 hours/Week

WORK SETTING: In office & Warehouse

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise, coordinate and schedule the daily activities of machinists, machine operators, apprentices and other machine shop staff involved in the production of precision dies, tooling and metal components.

Review production drawings, specifications and job requirements, assign work, and establish machining methods and production priorities to meet scheduled delivery timelines.

Set up and operate CNC and other machine-shop equipment as required and develop or modify CNC programs to produce components within specified dimensions and tolerances.

Coordinate the availability of materials, tooling, equipment and labour,



and work with other departments to ensure production orders are completed efficiently.

Monitor production quality and resolve machining, equipment and workflow issues, while recommending improvements to increase productivity and maintain consistent production standards.

Train and provide technical direction to machine shop employees, and assist management with staffing, performance and personnel recommendations.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures, maintain production records and prepare reports on production activities, progress and operational issues.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience using CNC Machine is required.

Minimum 7 months to 1 year of experience in related position is preferred.

Effectively communicate orally and in writing in English.

Experience working with MS Office, MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows is an asset.

Able to work independently and in a team, flexible, good time management, organizational and Interpersonal Skills.
