We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for coordinating daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently, maintaining quality standards, and providing leadership and coaching to employees.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

- Coordinate and prioritize daily and weekly production activities to meet customer and operational requirements.
- Assign work and allocate resources to ensure production schedules are achieved.
- Monitor workflow, productivity, and production output while identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Ensure production targets are met safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Team Leadership & Employee Development

- Lead, coach, and mentor production employees to support performance, engagement, and accountability.
- Provide training and guidance on manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Support attendance management, performance discussions, and employee development initiatives.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment.
- Promote open communication and support employee engagement initiatives.

Quality & Operational Excellence

- Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Conduct inspections and implement corrective actions to address quality concerns.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, quality, downtime, scrap, and efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain workflow.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other departments to support operational objectives.




- Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, efficiency, and reduce waste.

Health & Safety

- Promote and enforce safe work practices and compliance with company policies and applicable legislation.
- Conduct safety observations, training, and investigations as required.
- Identify and address workplace hazards to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Lead by example in fostering a strong safety culture throughout the facility.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and workflow management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and workplace compliance requirements.
- Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Robust leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting tools.
- Experience in an assembly or electronics manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards and Lean Manufacturing principles is considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Operations Management, or a related field is considered an asset.

Working Conditions

- On-site position located in Guelph, Ontario.
- Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; flexibility may be required based on business needs.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks.
- Clean,



air-conditioned manufacturing facility.
- Exposure to manufacturing materials including fiberglass, resins, and other production-related materials.
- Steel-toed safety footwear and required PPE must be worn.
- Reliable transportation required.

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
