Motley Que is a small-batch BBQ sauce, seasoning and specialty food company based in Edmonton, Alberta, and we're looking to add hardworking, reliable people to our production team.

We operate from a CFIA-approved food production facility, which means food safety, cleanliness and proper sanitation procedures are a major part of what we do every single day.

This is a hands-on position. You'll be helping make, bottle and package Motley Que products. Some days you'll be making and bottling sauce, other days you'll be filling seasonings, labeling products or working on other parts of the production process.

And every day, you'll be cleaning.

Cleaning and sanitation aren't just end-of-day chores around here. They're an important part of working in a food production facility and a regular part of every shift.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assisting with production of sauces, seasonings and other food products
- Measuring and handling ingredients according to recipes and batch sheets
- Bottling, filling, capping, labeling and packaging products
- Operating and assisting with production equipment
- Daily cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, utensils, work surfaces, floors and production areas
- Following established food-safety, sanitation and production procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace throughout your shift
- Moving ingredients, supplies and finished products throughout the facility
- Helping with other production-related tasks as needed

What We're Looking For




- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing and working on your feet for extended periods
- Able to perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting, bending and reaching
- Comfortable with daily cleaning and sanitation duties
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to accurately follow written recipes, batch sheets and instructions
- Able to follow food-safety and sanitation procedures consistently
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality and cleanliness
- Previous food production, commercial kitchen or manufacturing experience is an asset, but not required
- Food safety training/certification is an asset

Hours & Pay

20–40 hours per week

Hours may vary depending on production needs and order volume.

Starting wage: $16–$18/hour, depending on experience.

We're looking to have our recent production team members hired by the end of October 2026.
